The Mercedes, Red Bull, and Williams teams have all used one of their jokers to work on their cars during the curfew imposed by the FIA this season. Personnel from these teams who directly intervened on the cars have worked during night hours.<\/p>\n
The curfew was implemented so that the teams cannot work day and night on their cars, thus protecting their staff. Working on the cars is not permitted for 13 hours every night from 9pm to 7am, from Wednesday to Sunday.<\/p>\n
The sporting regulations of Formula 1 state that there are 3 different curfew periods.<\/p>\n

– Couvre-feu 2: D\u00e9bute 18 heures avant le d\u00e9but des FP1 et se termine 4 heures avant.<\/p>\n
– Couvre-feu 3: D\u00e9bute 13 heures avant le d\u00e9but des FP3 et se termine 3 heures avant.<\/p>\n
Each curfew period has its own limitations. The closer we get to the start of free trials, the less likely it is to break curfew.<\/p>\n
