Great week for the Australian driver! After completing his first laps in Formula 1 aboard the 2021 Alpine in Qatar, the Virtuosi driver grabs the pole position at the Spanish Grand Prix!<\/p>\n
Under the Catalan heat, the drivers were opting for different strategies. The Australian pilot’s strategy paid off. He was able to take advantage of a less hot and more rubbered track to achieve the pole position in 1.28.612.<\/p>\n
Behind him, Juri Vips, who also had a great day (in FP1 with Red Bull this morning), signed the second fastest time with just one qualifying lap. Frederik Vesti, teammate of Th\u00e9o Pourchaire at ART, achieved a nice third time.<\/p>\n
On the French side, it’s a bit more discreet. Th\u00e9o Pourchaire had to push his ART to try to keep up with the front-runners. In his last lap, he was hindered in the first corner by Drugovich (the Brazilian could lose his tenth position pending investigation). Th\u00e9o Pourchaire couldn’t do better than seventh.<\/p>\n
No worries, in Imola he started from the same spot… a race he eventually won on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n
Cl\u00e9ment Novalak has signed the twelfth time.<\/p>\n
