Behind them, Alpine has lost its fourth position to car number 709, which managed to make up for lost time after a brief stop in the pit lane, but also greatly assisted by a drive-through penalty for car number 36. The French car is forced to return to its garage at 7:54 PM and has lost several positions.<\/p>\n<p>In LMP2, the JOTA team has taken the lead and holds a comfortable one-minute advantage over the chasing pack of the Peske team. The United Motorsport&#8217;s #22 car has managed to rejoin the LMP2 field and currently sits in 21st position. On the other side of the garage, something noteworthy happened with the #23 car as Josh Pierson took the wheel, becoming the youngest participant in the 24-hour race. The Ferrari from Riley Motorsport is struggling more as it is competing amongst the LMGTE AM cars.<\/p>\n<p>In the last category, the Porsche of Dempsey-Proton Racing, car number 77, took the lead of the LMGTE AM, while the Weathertech made its pit stop.
