A group of protesters had plans to storm the Silverstone circuit. They kept their promise and ran on the track between turns 5 and 6. On the onboard cameras of several drivers, we can see the marshals restraining the people who managed to make it onto the track. They were then assisted by the police, who arrested them.<\/p>\n
We can confirm that after the red flag, several people attempted to enter the track. These individuals were immediately expelled, and the matter is now being dealt with by local authorities, confirms a statement from the FIA and F1.<\/p>\n
