For its return to endurance racing, Porsche will compete in the WEC and IMSA championships. The objective is to fight for overall victories in the two biggest endurance series, the manufacturer specifies.<\/p>\n<p>Four cars will be built and entered. Car number 5 will be shared by Dane Cameron, Michael Christensen, and Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Makowiecki. Car number 6 will be driven by Andr\u00e9 Lotterer, K\u00e9vin Estre, and Laurens Vanthoor. Finally, for IMSA, car number 6 will be driven by Nick Tandy and Mathieu Jaminet, while Felipe Nasr and Matt Campbell will share car number 7.<\/p>\n<h2>Two client teams<\/h2>\n<p>Gianmaria Bruni, Romain Dumas, Richard Lietz, and Thomas Preining are also part of the 2023 factory driver lineup.<\/p>\n<p>In its first season, the new Porsche 963 will also be available for customers to compete in both endurance series.
