Introduced for the first time in Formula 1 with Fernando Alonso at the Belgian Grand Prix 2021, the Helmet Cam or Driver&#8217;s Eye has been introduced with the aim of diversifying the broadcast and allowing spectators to get as close as possible to the drivers.<\/p>\n<p>After being experimented with over the past few years, this immersive camera technology is on the verge of becoming a standard. Racing Force Group has announced that it has signed an agreement with the FOM for its Driver&#8217;s Eye camera to be used this season for the entire grid.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, this device, which weighs only 1.43 grams and has a diameter of 8 mm, is installed inside the inner padding of the pilot&#8217;s helmet. Since its introduction, this technology was only possible on Bell helmets, owned by Racing Force.
