She is divided into two groups. One for the Hypercars equipped with a hybrid system and one for those that do not have it. Determined a few days before the prologue which took place in Sebring, a first Balance of Performance (BoP) will apply to the race this weekend, still in Sebring. A second BoP will be implemented for the following three rounds, up to the 24 Hours of Le Mans.<\/p>\n

Thus, each car must adhere to a minimum weight, a determined power, as well as energy allocation, when possible. At Sebring, Toyota will display a weight of 1,062 kilograms on the scale, with a power of 517 kW.<\/p>\n

Differences for hybrid system activation<\/h2>\n

Ferrari will be 5 kilograms lighter with slightly lower power (515 kW). Peugeot will have a Hypercar weighing 1,049 kilograms with a power of 518 kW. Glickenhaus and Vanwall will have the two lightest cars (1,030 kilograms) with respective powers of 520 and 511 kW. Lastly, Porsche will have to start with a prototype weighing 1,048 kilograms with 517 kW, and Cadillac with 1,038 kilograms and 513 kW.<\/p>\n

Among all these stables, only three have a hybrid system on the front axle. Toyota and Ferrari will be able to activate it from 190 km\/h, while Peugeot will be able to use it from 150 km\/h. This difference is due to the wheels and tire dimensions of the different Hypercars.<\/p>\n

For the next rounds, all cars except the Glickenhaus and the Vanwall will lose weight. Power will also be reduced for everyone except Glickenhaus and Cadillac. However, Vanwall will gain a few horses, with 512 kW instead of 511.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
