Last year, after his departure from McLaren, where he had spent two seasons, Ricciardo’s name had been linked to the Haas F1 team to replace Mick Schumacher. According to Steiner, the team’s financial demands were too high, so the American team ultimately turned to Nico H\u00fclkenberg.<\/p>\n
Recently questioned about its future lineup, the Italian leader took the opportunity to put pressure on its pilots: “Let’s see how things go with our two pilots. But maybe at some point, I will have to discuss with Daniel, but I can’t promise anything, especially if our drivers are performing well.”<\/p>\n
