Just landed from their plane returning from Baku, Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly headed straight to the Charlotte oval in North Carolina to test a Nascar car. Thanks to a mutual partner’s initiative, the Alpine drivers were able to get behind the wheel of the Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing’s Ford Mustang and complete a few laps at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.<\/p>\n
Brad Keselowski, owner of the team and NASCAR Cup Series champion in 2012, and his teammate Chris Buescher, were able to give the best advice to the two Formula 1 drivers to tame the 850-horsepower monster. A good way to start the week and forget about the setbacks of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, where Gasly and Ocon could only manage 14th and 15th place.<\/p>\n
