Former driver and team boss in Formula 3000, Christian Horner had the opportunity to take the reins of Red Bull in its first F1 season in 2005 \u2013 becoming at just 31 years old the youngest team principal in the history of the sport.<\/p>\n
By surrounding himself with key recruits at all levels, he oversaw the rise of Red Bull from a promising brand to a world champion. To date, the team boasts 107 pole positions, 124 Grand Prix wins, 287 podiums, six constructor titles, and eight driver titles.<\/p>\n
After the announcement on Wednesday of a reshuffle at the head of the team \u2013 Laurent Mekies, former director of Racing Bulls, taking over at Red Bull, while Alan Permane takes the vacant position at Racing Bulls.<\/p>\n
