Fred Vasseur missed the Austrian Grand Prix last weekend, having returned home for personal reasons, not specified by Ferrari.<\/p>\n

The Italian F1 team had confirmed this information on Sunday morning, just hours before the race at the Red Bull Ring.<\/p>\n

Fred Vasseur returns to Silverstone<\/h2>\n

Deputy team director, J\u00e9r\u00f4me d’Ambrosio, replaced Fred Vasseur and handled Ferrari’s media obligations after the Grand Prix.<\/p>\n

But the Frenchman revealed that he would be back on the Ferrari pit wall to resume his duties at Silverstone.<\/p>\n

Personally, I can’t wait to get back on the circuit with the team to enjoy the unique and special atmosphere of Silverstone \u00bb, said Fred Vasseur during the team’s presentation.<\/p>\n

The British Grand Prix this weekend will mark Lewis Hamilton’s first home race<\/b> since joining Ferrari.<\/p>\n

The seven-time world champion had claimed an emotional victory at the British Grand Prix last year, ending a 945-day winless period in F1<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Ferrari in search of performance<\/h2>\n

Ferrari had experienced an improvement in its performance in Austria, with Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton finishing third and fourth respectively at the wheel of the improved SF-25, thanks in particular to a revised floor.<\/p>\n

Fred Vasseur hopes that Ferrari can maintain this momentum at Silverstone as the team looks to turn around a disappointing start to the 2025 season. \u00ab After Austria, we head to Silverstone, a very different track and one of the true classics \u00bb, he added.<\/p>\n

The improvements made to the SF-25 in Spielberg certainly contributed to our good result last Sunday, and we want to capitalize on this positive momentum for the next race.<\/p>\n
