The seven-time world champion had until now always managed to finish on the podium at least once in the first 10 races of each of his previous 17 seasons in F1. This impressive streak came to an end after the Canadian Grand Prix, where Lewis Hamilton finished only sixth.<\/b><\/p>\n
Last year, he came close to ending this streak but managed to save face with a third-place finish in Spain, the tenth race of the 2024 season.<\/p>\n

On a more positive note, Lewis Hamilton retains another record: the record for the most consecutive podiums for a McLaren driver<\/b>.<\/p>\n
In 2007, during his rookie season, he had a streak of nine podiums. Oscar Piastri could have matched this performance in Montreal, but the Australian finished fourth.<\/p>\n
Qualified fifth \u2013 his best result of the season<\/b> \u2013 Lewis Hamilton had a difficult race, finishing in a distant sixth place. An aerodynamic loss estimated at 20 points of downforce (about half a second per lap) significantly compromised his performance.<\/p>\n
