After more than 20 minutes of neutralization under the safety car regime, the race was able to resume. The standings were modified. The Peugeot #93, the only hypercar not to have stopped during this time, took the lead.<\/p>\n

The Alpine #36 was right behind, with the two Ferraris in pursuit. The Toyota #7 did not have a good restart, losing four positions in a single corner.<\/p>\n

In GT3, a large pack of eight cars tightened up most of the competitors. The battle was fierce. After a good start to the race, the Iron Dames Porsche was having a bit more trouble. At its wheel, Rahel Frey was overtaken by an Aston Martin and a Mercedes in less than a lap.<\/p>\n

Miguel Molina, from Ferrari #50, has been placed under investigation for a pit lane infringement. With two hours remaining, a penalty could jeopardize everything. The other Ferrari has also been placed under investigation. The reason has not been disclosed.<\/p>\n

The huge battle for the tenth place in the GT3 category allowed the Iron Dames to stay in touch with the cars ahead. A few meters ahead, the struggling Lexus #78 resisted the attacks from its competitors.<\/p>\n

Kamui Kobayashi, with his Toyota #7, took all the risks to stay in the game. The Japanese driver kept up with the pace of the Peugeot #94 and the BMWs. However, he made too many mistakes, which caused him to lose time.<\/p>\n

The other McLaren, #59, went straight at the end of the second sector and hit the wall. This incident followed contact with the Racing Spirit of L\u00e9man’s Aston Martin. In a big surprise, it managed to get out of the gravel on its own.<\/p>\n

Eduardo Barrichello, in the Aston Martin #10, punished himself by getting a flat tire. Difficult race after such great qualifications for Patrick Barbier’s team.<\/p>\n
