But then, what is this film about? Brad Pitt<\/b> stars as Sonny Hayes, a former F1 driver who found glory in the 90s before a brutal accident pushed him towards other disciplines. Everything changes when an old friend, played by Javier Bardem<\/b>, offers him a major challenge: return to F1 to support Joshua Pierce, a young prodigy played by Damson Idris<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Pitt<\/b> himself summarized the plot to Sky F1<\/i>: \u00ab It’s a last place team, they’re 21-22 on the grid, they’ve never scored a point. But they have a young phenomenon… and they bring me in as a kind of Hail Mary, and hijinks ensue. \u00bb<\/p>\n
