The night was short for Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. After taking part in the F1 75 Live at the O2 Arena in London on Tuesday evening, the two Ferrari drivers had an appointment on Wednesday morning several hundred kilometers further south for the first tests of their new car, the Ferrari SF-25.<\/p>\n
Welcomed by hundreds of fans around the Fiorano circuit, it was Leclerc who had the honor of taking the wheel of the car that aims to win a title that has eluded the Italian team since 2008. From 9:30 am, the Monegasque driver took to the track before handing over the wheel to his new teammate in the afternoon.<\/p>\n

Unveiled the day before, the livery of the SF-25 evolves compared to its predecessor. Adorned with a slightly darker red, it is mainly the vertical white stripe of the team’s new title sponsor that catches the eye on the engine cover. Additionally, another sponsor adds blue to the back of the rear wing.<\/p>\n
On the technical side, Ferrari has chosen this season to opt for pull-rod suspensions instead of push-rod suspensions, following the path notably taken by McLaren. To learn more, we now have to wait for the official pre-season tests which will take place from February 26th to 28th on the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain. On this occasion, teams will test several developments which will be interesting to closely observe.<\/p>\n
Two weeks later, from March 14 to 16, the entire F1 paddock will meet in Melbourne, Australia for the first Grand Prix of a season that will feature 24 races and 6 sprints.<\/p>\n
