McLaren had to stress for a big part of the race. <a href="\/f1\/actualite\/35431-pluie-penalites-debut-grand-prix-dabu-dhabi.html" title="Rain of penalties at the beginning of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.<\/p>\n

"With the Verstappen\/Piastri incident in the first corner, the papaya team could lose big points, especially with Charles Leclerc's crazy comeback. The two Ferrari drivers wanted to bring the constructors' title back to Maranello, but McLaren's dominance since Miami got the better of the Scuderia. Zak Brown's men brought the bacon home to Woking by 14 points."<\/p>\n

A little further, two other teams were fighting for sixth place. With the double podium in Brazil, Alpine could claim this position, competing with Haas. The battle was raging until this Sunday. The French team was only represented by Pierre Gasly, as Jack Doohan was far behind the Normand. So it was alone against two performing Haas cars that he was going to defend the colors of his team. But thanks to his seventh place, just ahead of Nico H\u00fclkenberg, Pierre Gasly allowed Alpine to beat the American team.<\/p>\n

Among the drivers, Lando Norris has secured the honorary position of vice-world champion against Charles Leclerc. The British driver, with his domination in Yas Marina, did not leave the slightest chance for the Monegasque.<\/p>\n
