The opposite would have been surprising. Toyota has decided to continue in 2025 with the same six drivers as this season. Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi, and Nyck de Vries will compete together in the World Endurance Championship with car number 7 for a second consecutive season, after winning a race in 2024. The Japanese and Dutch drivers finished third in the drivers’ standings this year, with Mike Conway not scoring any points at Le Mans as he was absent for that race.<\/p>\n

Sebastian Buemi, Brendon Hartley, and Ryo Hirakawa have won two world titles and a Le Mans crown together during their three seasons driving the #8 car, and they will try to expand their record next season.<\/p>\n

The six men will try to win new titles with Toyota, who had only settled for the world champion constructor title against the Porsche ogre in 2024. They all announce it in unison. The 24 Hours of Le Mans will be one of the main objectives in the next exercise.<\/p>\n

We have a pair of high-level drivers in both cars, and I am happy to be part of it again in 2025. The team spirit and cooperation among all drivers, and the team in general, grow with each race and each season. Competing in the Hypercar category in the WEC is a great challenge and we are fighting against very strong competition, but as a team, we are constantly striving to do even better in each race,” emphasizes Kamui Kobayashi, team director and driver of car #7.<\/p>\n
