You should not have turned on the television late. Even though the start was delayed, Lance Stroll’s pirouette and embarrassment were noteworthy. Lewis Hamilton, in difficulty since the qualifying session, was still struggling during the race. The Mercedes driver was having trouble with a car that seemed uncontrollable. Despite his setbacks, he managed to recover and secured the tenth position point.<\/p>\n

With increasingly intense rain, the drivers showed perfect control. In doubt, the race direction called for the intervention of the safety car. Some drivers took advantage of this to switch to new tires. However, these were too cold. And with a slow pace, Franco Colapinto was caught off guard and hitched his Williams on the wall. The red flag was raised.<\/p>\n

The unfortunate situation of the Argentinian benefited Esteban Ocon, who had not stopped. At the restart, he was first with Pierre Gasly not far behind him. After a perfect start, Carlos Sainz had his accident. The Ferrari, too damaged, could not continue. Another safety car was needed.<\/p>\n

To note that Alex Albon was unable to start due to his violent accident in qualifying this morning. The damage to the Thai driver’s Williams was too extensive. Nico H\u00fclkenberg was disqualified for receiving assistance from the marshals to return to the track after a mistake.<\/p>\n
