They kept their word. At the beginning of the weekend, Renault employees had sent a statement to the press to express their discontent. In this letter, they had indicated that two demonstrations would be held simultaneously. One in Monza and the other in Viry-Ch\u00e2tillon.<\/p>\n
A small delegation was indeed present in the stands of the circuit on Friday, August 30th. They were easily recognizable with their white t-shirt, with the black Alpine logo and the hashtag #ViryOnTrack on the back.<\/p>\n
In the team’s garage, several mechanics were wearing a black armband to show their support for their colleagues in Viry. These protests had no impact on the course of the day for Alpine.<\/p>\n
