This Thursday, August 29, in the Monza paddock, some glances were turned towards the Alpine stand. Once again, we might be tempted to say. While several teams were practicing tire changes, the Alpine mechanics were all gathered between the cars with the arrow A.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the CSE of Viry-Ch\u00e2tillon issued a press release to announce the upcoming actions. Faced with the announcement of the termination of the F1 engine project, employees will express their discontent during the first day of the Monza Grand Prix.<\/p>\n<p>The plan to abandon the Renault engine in Formula 1 is behind these protests. Alpine is expected to switch from the French power unit by 2026.<\/p>\n<h2>A gathering planned in Viry-Ch\u00e2tillon<\/h2>\n<p>In Italy, two groups of employees will be divided into the stands of the circuit. They will display a banner with a clear and non-aggressive message, advocating for the French engine to remain in F1. They will be dressed all in white with the Alpine logo, wearing a black armband. In the garage, all individuals wishing to show their support will do so with a distinctive sign. Again, probably an armband. In this statement, the CSE indicated that no disruption for Alpine on the track is expected.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, employees who remained in Viry-Ch\u00e2tillon will also go on strike, in solidarity with this movement. Signs of discontent will also be displayed. The messages will be tough but without much animosity.<\/p>\n<p>The day of mobilization should be attended by elected officials. The City of Viry-Ch\u00e2tillon is calling for a gathering this Friday, August 30th at 12:15 pm before staying a part of the afternoon in front of the factory in the Paris region.
