The weather forecasters had not lied. The weekend of the Dutch Grand Prix starts in difficult weather conditions. Since this morning, gusts of wind are sweeping the Zandvoort circuit and when the F1 Academy single-seaters took to the track at 10 a.m. for their practice session, it was the rain that came to water the dunes along the North Sea.<\/p>\n
With these conditions, the drivers fear for their safety and wonder whether it is feasible or not to take to the track for today’s free practice session. Lando Norris is among the drivers concerned about this situation.<\/p>\n

To be honest, it could be really dangerous because if you enter a turn at a certain speed, like in turn 7, and you have strong wind, there is nothing you can do to keep the car on the track,” said the McLaren driver in the Zandvoort paddock.<\/p>\n
