Unlike the first Friday practice session, the third free practice session this time took place without any bad weather. A few drops were still to be noted here and there but nothing too serious.<\/p>\n<p>Note that a car was missing at the pit lane exit, at the time of the green flag. Three 963s were in the top three positions at mid-session. The #12 from team Jota was ahead of the two official Hypercars. Alpine, with the #35, was in a very nice fourth position, just three tenths off the best reference.<\/p>\n<p>The drivers were much faster than the previous evening &#8211; the morning session not being representative due to the red flag. With a time of 1:25&#8217;727&#8221;, Toyota led the way this Friday. Norman Nato was a second and a half faster after half an hour (1:24&#8217;297&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>The same observation can be made for the GT3 category, but with much smaller time gaps. Between the best performance of the Lexus #87 yesterday and that of the Manthey Racing Porsche #92, the German car was four tenths faster.<\/p>\n<p>In Hypercar, the field is quite tight with eleven cars within a second. If the situation remains the same for the qualifying session a little later in the evening, it could promise some excitement. And frustration for one or several competitors.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the very discreet presence of raindrops, the drivers did not change the hierarchy.
