The first penalty for the race has already been issued. There are even two to be more precise. And both were addressed to Ferrari: to the #51 and to the #83. At the end of the qualifications, during the red flag, they are criticized for not stopping correctly at the dedicated location.<\/p>\n

This constitutes a violation of article 12.2.2.2.a) of the specific regulations for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Consequently, both teams have been penalized with a ten-second penalty. This penalty must be served during the first pit stop of their respective hypercars.<\/p>\n

This sanction is very minimal given the duration of the race. But in a completely crazy scenario, it could be important… In the statement provided by the commissioners, it is stated that Ferrari cannot appeal this decision.<\/p>\n
