{"id":2885,"date":"2023-07-28T12:52:51","date_gmt":"2023-07-28T12:52:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.casinoenligne.uk.com\/en\/f1\/news\/31229-many-drivers-benefit-from-new-engines-other-components-spa"},"modified":"2023-07-28T12:52:51","modified_gmt":"2023-07-28T12:52:51","slug":"31229-many-drivers-benefit-from-new-engines-other-components-spa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.casinoenligne.uk.com\/en\/f1\/news\/31229-many-drivers-benefit-from-new-engines-other-components-spa","title":{"rendered":"Many drivers benefit from new engines and other components at Spa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the Spa Grand Prix, some drivers will have new gearbox and transmission parts. <b>Lando Norris and Alexander Albon<\/b> will use their second set of gearbox and cassette. <b>Esteban Ocon<\/b> will have a new transmission line, just like Norris and Albon.<\/p>\n<p>These new elements are part of the four new gearbox transmission lines, shift change components, and auxiliary components allowed for the 2023 season, in accordance with Article 29.2 of the Formula 1 2023 Sporting Regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, some drivers will use new parts for their engines. <b>Lewis Hamilton, Oscar Piastri, Lance Stroll, Fernando Alonso, Alexander Albon, and Logan Sargeant<\/b> will all have a new internal combustion engine (ICE), turbocharger (TC), heat generator unit (MGU-H), and kinetic generator unit (MGU-K).<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Lando Norris will have a new internal combustion engine, while Valtteri Bottas, Guanyu Zhou, Kevin Magnussen, and Nico H\u00fclkenberg will have a new energy storage system (ES). The Danish driver from Haas will also have a new internal combustion engine (ICE), turbocharger (TC), and heat generator unit (MGU-H).<\/p>\n<p>Guanyu Zhou and Kevin Magnussen will also have a new electronic control system (EC)<\/p>\n<p>To finish, the following drivers will start benefiting from a new exhaust system (EX): Lewis Hamilton, Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris, Guanyu Zhou, Lance Stroll, Fernando Alonso, Kevin Magnussen, Alexander Albon, and Logan Sargeant.<\/p>\n<p>These technical updates are also all approved in accordance with Article 28.2 of the Formula 1 Sporting Regulations for the 2023 season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Several drivers are benefiting from new power units and other new components for the Spa Grand Prix.
