The chronographs remained largely the same during the late morning, with no changes in the top five. Mart\u00ed finished first ahead of Martins, Hauger, Hadjar, and Paul Aron. Josep Mar\u00eda Mart\u00ed was the fastest driver on this second day of testing for the season. The Campos Racing driver set a time of 1:23.681 during the morning session, which is the fastest lap of the test so far. He was followed by Victor Martins and Dennis Hauger. In the afternoon, however, it was Ritomo Miyata who finished on top with a 0.2-second lead over Gabriel Bortoleto: he set a time of 1:24.878.<\/p>\n

Two red flags<\/h2>\n

In the morning, Miyata was the driver stopped in the last sector between turns 10 and 11, which put a pause in the on-track action while just over half of the morning segment remained, resulting in a first red flag. PREMA, ART, and MP were immediately on track to kick off the afternoon, but Franco Colapinto’s session was interrupted with 10 minutes to go. The Argentine driver stopped in sector 2, causing the second red flag of the day.<\/p>\n

The two Frenchmen defended themselves well in the morning: Martins finished 2nd and Hadjar 4th. Moreover, an hour before the end, Martins improved his personal best to move up to second place, 0.160 seconds behind Mart\u00ed’s time. In the afternoon, however, the two Frenchmen finished 19th and 12th respectively.<\/p>\n

The third and final day of seasonal testing will begin tomorrow at 9:00 AM local time, but will have a modified schedule in the afternoon, with the last session starting at 1:00 PM instead of 2:00 PM and ending at 4:00 PM local time.<\/p>\n
