The gearbox reportedly got stuck in 6th gear, preventing the driver from reaching his maximum speed.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab It was not the weekend we had planned, \u00bb commented Vietoris.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab After a good start, I noticed that on the straight something was wrong and that I wasn&#8217;t reaching my maximum speed. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab We then noticed that it was making me lose 2.5 seconds per lap. We must ensure that it doesn&#8217;t happen again! \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Vietoris, who replaced Nick H\u00fclkenberg, champion with Germany the previous season, knows he must perform just as well this season as his compatriot.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from this problem, the qualification showed that we would be competitive this season as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab A lot is expected from us this season, and we will perform well. \u00bb concluded the young German.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Germany is the reigning champion, but this weekend for the first meet of the season in Zandvoort, the results did not live up to expectations.
