But in Spain, during the last race and the highly publicized withdrawal of all Audi drivers after two collisions, it was Mercedes and its 6 cars that should have undergone the entire ballast redistribution just one race away from a very tight championship!<\/p>\n
Mercedes complained to the DTM officials and finally reached an agreement on the weight distribution. Indeed, the position of the cars on lap 46 of the Barcelona Race 2 will be considered rather than their finishing position, since if that had been the case, the 6 Mercedes, being the only ones to finish, would have taken all the ballast. Audi withdrew its drivers 3 laps later.<\/p>\n
