No fewer than 60 laps were completed today and pleasant sensations for this first day in Shanghai without experiencing, and it&#8217;s important, any reliability issues. The drivers are therefore optimistic for the rest of the weekend.<\/p>\n<p><b>Jenson Button \u2013 14th and 12th<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab The progress of this first day was quite positive with a good number of laps completed. We managed to get clear laps, alone, with tires in very good running condition. Especially since the car performed well. We tested a lot during these two practice sessions, and we have a lot of data to analyze tonight for the rest of the weekend. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><b>Rubens Barrichello \u2013 15th and 13th<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab I experienced my best Friday in three weekends. It went very well. The car was well balanced for the long stints, and the performance level seems good for this start of the weekend. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>I am always using the mule car this Friday because the chassis are different (it&#8217;s the one from after Japan) and it seems to suit me better. Overall, it&#8217;s a positive start and we expect good improvements for the rest of the weekend.<\/p>\n<p><b>Jacky Eeckelaert \u2013 Technical Director<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab We established a usual Friday today by comparing the different types of tires available for the race. At the end of the second session, we found a very good balance on the cars.
