Petrov made headlines this season by securing his first GP2 victory in Spain, and he said he doesn’t want to play the role of a stopgap in F1 unless he can be competitive.<\/p>\n
\u00ab I could drive in F1 from today or at least as a test driver, \u00bb declared the 23-year-old Russian.<\/p>\n
But I am a perfectionist by nature, I do not want to drive for teams such as Spyker, Toro Rosso or Super Aguri.<\/p>\n
