The goal being to join Toyota, relieved of Ralf Schumacher after the Brazilian Grand Prix.<\/p>\n<p>Timo Glock will no longer be associated with BMW Sauber F1 Team next season, said Mario Theissen.<\/p>\n<p>We offered him the position of test driver in our team, but he has an opportunity to become a racing driver with another team. Therefore, we wish him the best for the rest of his career in F1.<\/p>\n<p>The contract between Toyota and Glock is expected to be signed next week, thus closing the door on Fernando Alonso, who has been without a contract for a few weeks already.<\/p>\n<p>Except for McLaren, Renault, and Toyota, all the teams have confirmed their 2008 drivers. Toyota is currently without a second driver, just like McLaren.
