However, the 32-year-old driver said there has been no contact with McLaren to date, adding that he felt good enough to compete against and even beat Lewis Hamilton.<\/p>\n
He won six Grand Prix races during his career with Williams before moving to Toyota, where his presence was seen as a disappointment. He was replaced for the next season by his compatriot Timo Glock.<\/p>\n
