The McLaren-Mercedes test driver Pedro de la Rosa believes that the ban on traction control, which is now in effect, will not change much in F1.<\/p>\n
Traction control is therefore banned starting in 2008, and several F1 race drivers will, for the first time in their careers, drive without driving aids.<\/p>\n
However, De la Rosa believes that the drivers will quickly adapt to this new constraint and the lap times will be similar to those of last year.<\/p>\n

Gary Paffett from McLaren has conducted enough tests in the development of the 2008 single-seater to make the absence of traction control as imperceptible as possible.<\/p>\n
