{"id":27267,"date":"2008-01-10T08:52:34","date_gmt":"2008-01-10T08:52:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.casinoenligne.uk.com\/en\/f1\/news\/4902-pkv-chooses-oriol-servia-for-2008-season"},"modified":"2008-01-10T08:52:34","modified_gmt":"2008-01-10T08:52:34","slug":"4902-pkv-chooses-oriol-servia-for-2008-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.casinoenligne.uk.com\/en\/f1\/news\/4902-pkv-chooses-oriol-servia-for-2008-season","title":{"rendered":"PKV chooses Oriol Servia for the 2008 season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PKV Racing team recently announced that they have selected Oriol Servia to compete on the circuits during the 2008 Champ Car World Series season.<\/p>\n<p>The Spanish driver, who raced two Grand Prix with the team at the end of 2007, after already spending an entire year as a full-time driver the previous season, is the first driver to be confirmed by PKV.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab I am very happy to have the opportunity to continue with PKV Racing, \u00bb exclaimed the enthusiastic 33-year-old man. \u00ab I know the team well and it is mutual. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab It will be only the second time in my career that I will participate in a championship with a team in which I have already been a driver for an entire year. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>I have the feeling that the relationship we established in the past &#8211; between the team and myself &#8211; will be very important this new season. The competition will indeed be very tough in 2008, and this experience will be a great asset.<\/p>\n<p>The co-owner of the team, Jimmy Vasser, added: \u00ab We believe that having Oriol compete will give us the best chance to position ourselves well in this championship. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Oriol, who is not only one of the most experienced drivers in the series but also one of the best, is also a good friend.
