The reason, most likely, was due to a poor relationship between the two former teammates compounded by a poor relationship between Ron Dennis and the Iberian\u2026<\/p>\n<p>It didn&#8217;t take more for Alonso to return to the team that made him a double world champion in 2005 and 2006: Renault.<\/p>\n<p>Even though Alonso, aged 26, dominated his first day of testing with the French team in Jerez last week, Hamilton doubts that his former teammate has already dramatically improved Renault&#8217;s performance.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Renault is a strong team that can improve on its own, especially if the two drivers work and cooperate together, \u00bb said the Briton to the Spanish newspaper Diario AS.<\/p>\n<p>Hamilton also confirmed that McLaren will fight 100% to develop their own car, even in Alonso&#8217;s absence.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab It will be the same thing as last year.
