After the official presentation of its 2008 single-seater last January, ING Renault F1 Team today announces its new Roadshow campaign, which is particularly rich and ambitious.<\/p>\n

Faithful to its philosophy of always seeking to democratize Formula 1 and open the doors of this very exclusive universe to the general public, ING Renault F1 Team is continuing, for the fifth consecutive year, its program of demonstrations in major cities around the world: the ING Renault F1 Team Roadshow.<\/p>\n

Launched in 2003, this program has since allowed more than two million people around the world to attend a unique sporting event that combines technical excellence, friendliness, and passion.<\/p>\n

After Moscow, Seville, Tokyo, Johannesburg, and even Mexico, ING Renault F1 Team is preparing this year an ambitious demonstration program with nearly ten events planned to date, alongside, of course, its race in the 2008 FIA Formula 1 World Championship and its appearances at the World Series By Renault.<\/p>\n

After five years of existence, the intention of this program remains unchanged: to bring enthusiasts and newcomers closer to the heart of the action and share a friendly and exceptional moment with them around motorsport and Formula 1.<\/p>\n

Bernard Rey, President of ING Renault F1 Team, stated at the announcement of the 2008 program: \u00ab Formula 1 is one of the main pillars of the company’s global strategy for sales and marketing. In non-traditional markets, it is a powerful tool in building brand image; in older markets, it allows Renault to be positioned as a manufacturer at the forefront of technology and capable of offering reliable and high-performance vehicles. \u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab Our Roadshow program has been recognized as the most effective and economical promotional tool in the field, which says it all. It is an exceptional lever to bring media exposure to countries that do not host a Grand Prix. In Mexico last year, hundreds of thousands of people witnessed our cars driving through the city’s main avenue. Among them, there were many potential customers for Renault and its partners. Additionally, millions more are reached through the media coverage of these unique events, which enjoy worldwide success. Hence our interest this year in expanding this program to new markets. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Flavio Briatore, Managing Director of ING Renault F1 Team commented: \u00ab This is the very essence of the Roadshow. We drive our cars in front of the public, in the streets of their city or during a World Series by Renault event, and we give people the chance to get closer to the Renault cars, the team, and the drivers, which they almost never get the opportunity to do in the context of a Grand Prix \u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u00ab The ING Renault F1 Roadshow is, above all, about showcasing what modern Formula 1 is made of, a fabulous spectacle, and an unforgettable experience! \u00bb<\/p>\n

It is next May, in the streets of Marseille, in the South of France, that ING Renault F1 Team has decided to kick off its 2008 Roadshow program and make its single-seaters roar in front of an audience that is hoped to be numerous once again.<\/p>\n
