The Stobart driver had damaged his Ford Focus WRC 07 yesterday during an off-road excursion. After hitting a stone, his roll cage was also damaged.<\/p>\n<p>At the pit stop, the team discovered that the damage to the half axle had affected the rear part of the roll bar. The team and the FIA decided to withdraw the car for safety reasons.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m very disappointed,&#8221; says Galli. &#8220;It&#8217;s too stupid because everything was going well. I had good settings. The first two stages went well. I didn&#8217;t expect such good times because I wasn&#8217;t taking any risks. The car, the tires, the settings, everything was perfect. It&#8217;s a shame because I could only drive sixty kilometers with the new tires, but this experience will help me in Argentina for the next event.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The other team driver, Matthew Wilson, is seventh in the overall standings: &#8220;Our speed was good this morning despite Toni&#8217;s dust in the second stage. We must have lost fifty seconds,&#8221; recounts the 21-year-old driver. &#8220;The first two stages of the afternoon weren&#8217;t the best for me because the roads were clean, I wasn&#8217;t used to having so much grip and I couldn&#8217;t really use it. The last real stage before the super-specials was good. If I hadn&#8217;t made small mistakes, I would have been less than one second per kilometer from the fastest. It was a good way to end the day.
