At 28, Duval, despite previous commitments in Formula Nippon, took the wheel of the single-seater on Saturday and Sunday for the qualifying sessions and races.<\/p>\n<p>A few days before the South African event, the team did not have any confirmed drivers, as Duval was not certain he could attend the two races. But after confirmation, he indeed concluded his 2007\/2008 A1GP season with good results. He indeed cannot participate in the last three races.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We did an excellent job in Durban, the car was really good,&#8221; commented Lo\u00efc Duval.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab We are only ten points behind Switzerland [the leader of the rankings]. The competition is really tight this year. Everything is still possible. We are all very confident now, and the team needs to bring confidence to support the next driver. The car is going to be amazing and I just want to wish them the best possible result. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>France will resume racing in 10 days for the Mexican weekend. By then, the team will have officially announced its main driver, still hesitating between Nicolas Prost and Jonathan Cochet, both holding rookie status. The team&#8217;s results will be closely monitored by Duval.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab I will watch all the races and follow the championship closely because it&#8217;s an amazing feeling to win the motorsport world cup.
