For the fifth consecutive year, Renault and Altran are pleased to announce the renewal of the Altran Engineering Academy. Launched five years ago, this initiative has proven to be a valuable platform for young graduates looking to work at the highest level of motorsport. This privileged access to the world of Formula 1 represents a unique opportunity for all candidates.<\/p>\n
Once again, the team will open its doors to the victorious candidate who will then have the opportunity to work for six months within the team’s Research and Development department. Additionally, they will be provided with accommodation in Oxford, a company car, and a comfortable salary. The winner will also be supported by an Altran expert, who will help them settle in and focus on their mission. Candidates will base their applications on a project showcasing a technological innovation in one of the following seven sectors: aerodynamics, power, performance engineering, vehicle dynamics, control systems, electronics, fuel technologies, and transducer materials.<\/p>\n
The winners of previous years, such as Josef Dubsky in 2007, have shown that this experience within the team was decisive for their career: more than one participant in this competition is indeed today employed by the team, while others are in contact for future integration.<\/p>\n
Robin Tuluie, Head of Research and Development for ING Renault F1 Team, explains: \u00ab The competition attracts a large number of young people who have a passion for our professions and who are not intimidated by the complexity of our environment, nor by the level of involvement required. Their participation over the past four years has been invaluable to the team on a technical level and, for my department, a rewarding human experience. \u00bb<\/p>\n
Anne-Laure Sanguinetti, partnership manager for Altran, confides: \u00ab Participating in this challenge, which sees several hundred young people from the world’s best universities and schools apply, allows them to share this taste for challenge with Altran and ING Renault F1 Team. Every year, we face a difficult choice and are impressed by their ability to defend their ideas in front of the jury members. \u00bb<\/p>\n
The last four editions of the Altran Engineering Academy have been a great success, and thousands of people have visited the official competition website. Hundreds of entries have been registered from more than twenty countries.<\/p>\n
