The new rule that eliminates the use of traction control conditions this fear.<\/p>\n<p>The curtain raiser for the 2008 season takes place at the Albert Park circuit, a track that may not provide much grip.<\/p>\n<p>In possible wet conditions, the drivers would be more prone to off-track excursions as they will be participating in their first Grand Prix without traction control.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Autumn in Australia can bring rain, which would allow driving without anti-skid and without engine brake control in conditions that drivers fear. A real challenge, \u00bb commented Heidfeld.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab I did some tests on a wet track, and it&#8217;s truly fun.
