With young and equally spirited drivers, McLaren can seriously consider one or multiple titles in 2008. The pre-season tests have been good, especially thanks to Hamilton who has now settled in with the Woking team.<\/p>\n
Kovalainen will have to adapt as quickly as possible and why not perform as well as his teammate, who, a year ago, was dazzling everyone.<\/p>\n

For Melbourne, we must have absolute confidence in the car. So, I arrive here with the goal of winning the race, and we will all work tirelessly to try to achieve this objective.<\/p>\n
In 2007, Australia was my first Grand Prix; I think the first corner must be one of my best memories, I will never forget that moment. For this race, I finished on the podium for the first time in my career and so close to second place.<\/p>\n
\u00ab I feel at ease in the MP4\/23, I think we’ve made a ‘mega’ step forward in terms of reliability. The car is more efficient than last year’s. I need to try to improve throughout the year. To be honest, it’s better not to think too much about this big picture, but more about this first race.<\/p>\n

2007 was an interesting year for the team, no one could predict how the season would unfold. Within the team, there is a fantastic atmosphere, especially between our drivers.<\/p>\n
