{"id":26671,"date":"2008-03-13T20:01:05","date_gmt":"2008-03-13T20:01:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.casinoenligne.uk.com\/en\/f1\/news\/5538-to-keep-title-germany-no-longer-has-choice"},"modified":"2008-03-13T20:01:05","modified_gmt":"2008-03-13T20:01:05","slug":"5538-to-keep-title-germany-no-longer-has-choice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.casinoenligne.uk.com\/en\/f1\/news\/5538-to-keep-title-germany-no-longer-has-choice","title":{"rendered":"To keep the title, Germany no longer has a choice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>German A1GP team admitted their inability to win the title a second consecutive time this season, after underperformances in the recent races.<\/p>\n<p>The team did not score any points last month for the 7th round of the season in Durban (South Africa), notably due to a disqualification in race 1.<\/p>\n<p>With 41 points behind with three events remaining (thus 6 races), the team director &#8211; Willy Weber &#8211; has little illusion about the title (despite it still being mathematically playable), but hopes to win the last races of the season to uphold the dignity of the title won last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab We are still the reigning champion team, but we know very well that we won&#8217;t be able to keep it for much longer, even though we still have chances to win the title. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab With the remaining races, we are counting on good performances from the drivers as well as the team in order to offer spectators the best of the A1GP. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>On his side, Ammermuller, disqualified in South Africa after a collision, will again be a driver for the German team until the end of the season.
