Coughlan had been suspended from his duties by the Woking team since documents belonging to Ferrari were found at his home last July.<\/p>\n
Although McLaren had to pay, among other things, a $100 million fine when the truth of this story was demonstrated, Coughlan was only suspended at the time.<\/p>\n
Certain sources claim that the former designer could not be fired by McLaren due to legal issues.<\/p>\n
However, top executives have confirmed the termination of his contract.<\/p>\n
