While both were behind the safety car, Nakajima braked too late at turn 8, hitting the rear of the Pole, who was in second position and had been leading a race for the top 5 until then.<\/p>\n<p>Nakajima, upon returning to the pits, changed his front wing and was able to continue while Kubica was forced to retire.
