The young Swiss driver extended his championship lead by 10 points, but knows that 2 points were lost too foolishly&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The Swiss was first in the endurance race, number 2, before refueling. After the pit stop, Jani found himself side by side with Adam Carroll, the Irishman, and the two men remained that way until the end of the pit lane.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e9el Jani was too eager to accelerate again and removed his speed limiter well before the end of the prohibition line. He received a 10-second penalty for this, causing him to lose all his efforts. In 13th position, the Swiss driver then had a collision with Pakistan, causing him to cross the finish line in 19th position.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Our pit stop, unfortunately, was not very successful and I came out alongside [Adam] Carroll. I was already slightly ahead of him when I made my mistake, so it&#8217;s very unfortunate&#8230;, and I think that the fact I forced him to give me space didn&#8217;t work in my favor with the race stewards. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab We would have been at least 27 or 30 points ahead of the others in the standings without that&#8230; \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>The lead remains nevertheless at 15 points for Switzerland ahead of New Zealand. France is third, but Jani hopes to lead the Swiss to the title this season: \u00ab This position allows me to be more determined than ever for the rest of the championship!
