{"id":26483,"date":"2008-03-27T18:29:49","date_gmt":"2008-03-27T18:29:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.casinoenligne.uk.com\/en\/f1\/news\/5733-two-changes-in-2008-schedule"},"modified":"2008-03-27T18:29:49","modified_gmt":"2008-03-27T18:29:49","slug":"5733-two-changes-in-2008-schedule","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.casinoenligne.uk.com\/en\/f1\/news\/5733-two-changes-in-2008-schedule","title":{"rendered":"Two changes in the 2008 schedule!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After an exceptional meeting this Thursday, the FIA &#8211; F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de l&#8217;Automobile &#8211; announced the postponement by one week of the last two events of the 2008 World Rally Championship: the Rally of Japan and Great Britain.<\/p>\n<p>The council members met today in Paris and have officially announced that the &#8216;Rally Japan&#8217; will be held from October 31 to November 2, instead of the initially planned October 24-26, while the Wales Rally GB will take place from December 5 to 7, instead of November 28-30.<\/p>\n<p>The organizers themselves requested this change to the 2008 schedule to avoid conflicting with other major events being held at the same location on the same date. A Wales vs. Australia rugby match is indeed taking place on November 29.<\/p>\n<p>The Japan Rally was hindered by a football match that used the stadium where the Super Specials were supposed to take place. The organizers will therefore be able to use the 41,000 seats of the Sapporo Dome.
