The team took advantage of excellent weather conditions to prepare for the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix.<\/p>\n<p>Nelson Piquet was behind the wheel to evaluate the technical developments made to the R28. The Brazilian reviewed several configurations and began refining the settings on this demanding circuit.<\/p>\n<p>The team will continue its program until Thursday. Fernando Alonso will take over for the next two days, while Nelson will get back in the seat for the final day.<\/p>\n<p>Nelson Piquet: Another solid day of work for the team. The track conditions were good, we didn&#8217;t encounter any problems, and we had a productive morning. Unfortunately, I lost time in the afternoon and didn&#8217;t complete as many laps as planned. We tried several new things, but the most interesting work will only be done a little later in the week.<\/p>\n<p>Christian Silk &#8211; Chief Test Engineer: \u00ab The morning program went very well, and we only experienced a slight delay at lunchtime. The car is running well, and the factory has done tremendous work to ensure it&#8217;s ready on time for these tests.
