BMW-Sauber had good tests in the morning before collapsing during the second free practice held in the afternoon under the radiant sun of Barcelona.<\/p>\n
The two drivers of the German team ranked in the top 10 this morning and completed half as many laps as they did in the afternoon. But all remain confident for tomorrow, which mainly involves the qualifying sessions.<\/p>\n

\u00ab It is very important for me to do a lot of laps. I didn’t have the chance to prepare for this Grand Prix during the last week of testing. I worked with 2009 tires. However, with this program, we made a great number of changes and evaluated the tires. We now need to examine the data and prepare for tomorrow. \u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab From my point of view, this first day of testing went well. We didn’t have any problems, and we tested as planned. Regarding the balance of the car, it’s not perfect yet, but I think we can improve it by tomorrow. \u00bb<\/p>\n
