From the beginning of the session, Victor Martins showed himself to be the fastest after the first timed lap. He was then ahead of another rookie, the British driver Oliver Bearman, who has been very impressive this season. Th\u00e9o Pourchaire was in third place, ahead of Isack Hadjar, making it a great performance by our French drivers.<\/p>\n
But as the session went on, and as the cars became lighter and the track improved, the lap times dropped. On the second attempt, the top 4 remained the same but in reverse order. Pourchaire took back the lead ahead of Bearman, Hadjar and Martins. However, the Alfa Romeo protege was hindered by Roy Nissany as he wanted to start a new fast lap.<\/p>\n
The runner-up from Pourchaire’s team, Frederik Vesti, had a more discreet start to the qualifying session, settling for eighth place halfway through. The drivers went out at the end of the session, without Jack Crawford, whose Hitech car caught fire.<\/p>\n
By waiting too long, the drivers hindered each other and, at the moment of launching their final attempt, they were all grouped together and almost no one was able to improve. The pleasant surprise came from Roman Stanek, one of the few who was able to take off, who climbed to third place ahead of Isack Hadjar and Victor Martins, respectively 4th and 5th.<\/p>\n
