Felipe Massa stated that he expected a very close battle for victory tomorrow at the Turkish Grand Prix. Nevertheless, he will start with an advantage since he secured pole position after the qualifying sessions.<\/p>\n
The Ferrari driver achieved a time of 1’27”617 for his third consecutive pole position in Turkey. He also won the last two races in 2006 and 2007.<\/p>\n
Despite this pole position, the Brazilian does not expect an easy race with the McLaren drivers who will be right on his heels.<\/p>\n
\u00ab I am pumped up to deliver the best race possible, \u00bb stated Massa.<\/p>\n
\u00ab Of course, it won’t be easy because we know our competitors are competitive and right behind us. \u00bb<\/p>\n
We will try everything to clinch the victory. We need to be equipped with good tires at the right time and use the car in a good configuration.<\/p>\n
The Ferrari driver, currently fourth in the standings, feels almost at home on the Istanbul Park track.<\/p>\n
