The team benefited from reasonable track conditions for most of the day, allowing them to fine-tune their preparation for the Monaco Grand Prix, which will take place in just under a week now.<\/p>\n<p>Nelson Piquet was on track today and continued the testing started yesterday by his teammate and compatriot, Lucas Di Grassi. Nelson completed his entire program with 193 laps by the end of the session. After aerodynamic tests in the morning, he then started tests as part of the development program of the R28.<\/p>\n<p>The Brazilian will be on track again tomorrow for Renault&#8217;s last day of work on the Le Castellet circuit. The team will then switch to preparing for the Canadian Grand Prix thanks to a configuration of the French circuit allowing the evaluation of a low-downforce aerodynamic package.<\/p>\n<p><b>Nelson Piquet<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab We did a lot of tests today and luckily, the track was dry for most of the day, which allowed me to complete many laps. It is difficult to simulate the track conditions we will have in Monaco, so we mainly focused on accumulating miles and evaluating different developments. We didn&#8217;t really try to work on setup today. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><b>Christian Silk &#8211; Chief Test Engineer:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Our mileage underscores our reliability today, and we were able to complete our program without difficulty. This morning, it was about allowing Nelson to get his bearings on the circuit and conduct aerodynamic tests. Everything went well. This afternoon, we conducted development tests.
